Note: Although the product states it is a “Multi-Purpose Automatic Transmission Fluid,” it is important for consumers to be aware that DEXRON®-III/MERCON® fluids are not recommended for use in General Motors vehicles built after model year 2005 and Ford vehicles after model year 2006. Further, DEXRON®-III/MERCON® fluids are not recommended for use in transmissions specifying Ford Type F, Mercon® V, Mercon® SP, and GM Dexron® – VI ATF.

Always consult your owner’s manual to determine the type of ATF specified for your vehicle.
